Research Disclosure Framework
The Institute publishes research under a documented disclosure framework. Funding, commercial relationships, conflicts of interest, and contributor recognition are surfaced openly.
Funding
InsuranceQuoteToolkit's revenue comes from display advertising and Premium Report sales. The Institute is funded internally; no Institute research is commissioned by external sponsors.
Commercial relationships
InsuranceQuoteToolkit may maintain affiliate, comparison, or distribution relationships with insurance carriers and aggregators. These relationships are labeled inline where they appear, and listed in this section.

Conflicts of interest
Where a commercial relationship could create even the appearance of a conflict with a piece of research, the relationship is disclosed at the start of that piece. Reviewers with potential conflicts are excluded from the review of that specific work.
Contributor recognition
Substantive contributors to published research — reviewers, data partners, reader-submitted corrections — may be recognized with consent. Anonymous review is the default unless contributors opt in to recognition.
Methodology independence
Methodology decisions (factor selection, weighting, tier thresholds) are made by the Institute editorial team. No external party has methodology approval authority.
