How are snapshots saved?
Snapshots are stored in your browser only (localStorage). No account is required. The architecture is migration-ready for a future authenticated layer that syncs across devices.
Why do I see a trend even before saving anything?
If you have fewer than two snapshots, the tracker generates a deterministic synthetic backfill so charts render meaningfully on first visit. Save a real snapshot to start tracking actual movement.
